Kim Dotcom: Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is on the way to really break some ground in many different areas

Kim Dotcom: I’ve been working closely with a couple of whales including Roger here and some others on some big picture stuff.

The following is a transcript of a video call which took place on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Day - August 1st, 2021 - (BCH's fourth anniversary).

Kim Dotcom: "BCH is on the way to really break some ground in many different areas.

"I’ve been working closely with a couple of whales including Roger here some others on some big picture stuff.

"So were trying to get massive retailers to adopt BCH and integrate it into their POS (point of sale) systems. We are in talks with a number of countries to make BCH an alternative currency.

"We’ve already had a number of calls including a finance minister of an African nation and so our goal is really to make sure that BCH becomes the leader in digital money and we do that in many different ways.

"We’re identifying potential killer apps, investing into them, funding developer teams that are taking these projects to fruition.

"For example one thing we’re working on that I can mention here briefly is called CashRain.com where everyone who has something that they want to market can drop BCH on users to promote their products of their messaging.

"This is also going to work with large streamers they can use CashRain to rain some BCH onto their community and members of their community can also contribute to that streamer or to the community.

"So what I’m primarily focusing on is utilization. Because the more people become users of Bitcoin Cash and vendors of Bitcoin Cash the bigger our market share becomes, our value becomes and that is what I’m focusing on.

"We’re making really good progress. I joined team BCH late last year, really got going about half a year ago and since then we’re hitting milestone after milestone. Talking to billionaires getting them to invest in BCH, increasing the number of whales and really just promoting Bitcoin Cash for what it is: The best digital money solution out there.

"You’ve seen probably the site I built: WhyBitcoinCash.com - You know it’s so much easier now when people ask me why is this good, what’s the different. I just paste the link. They look at it and my feedback is everyone is really impressed, it’s easy to understand now what Bitcoin Cash is all about.

"The deeper I get into the BCH universe with all these talented, gifted people that are so passionate about it the more optimistic I become that it’s just a matter of time until we take the lead and that’s what I’m working and thanks to Roger of course for being the main driver of all of this."

Roger Ver, Cheap Lightning and Kim Dotcom exchange a few friendly and positive words and then Kim continues:

"There’s nothing on the site yet, we purchased the domain but the software is under development and probably in the next few months we will have a beta version up. We’re also working on another really cool thing if you guys want to know about it.

"We are caring about the environment. So as you’ve seen in WhyBitcoinCash (the website), I came up with this nice little slogan: Instead of fees plant some trees.

"We’ve taken this much further, we’ve now bought the domain Savetheworld.com We’re going to put onto that a platform where we make it profitable for people to invest in nature. Invest in the environment and we’re doing that by creating a carbon credit exchange. Carbon credits are going to be a trillion dollar industry in the next ten years because polluters have to pay more tax to governments for polluting the environment. The only way they can get around that is by generating or buying carbon credit and the only way you can earn carbon credit is by doing great things for the environment.

"You will have seen that Tesla (Elon Musk's company), some of their biggest income items are now the sale of carbon credits. In the first quarter of this year Tesla sold over 500 million worth of carbon credits.

"So what we are going to do we’re going to create this carbon credit exchange that links directly to Bitcoin Cash and then we’re going to collect instead of fees we are going to get people to volunteer to provide some donations for these projects that protect forests from deforestation, planting trees and our goal is not only that Bitcoin Cash will be carbon neutral or ten times carbon neutral but that we allow other players in the crypto space as well to join our green initiative and that we are building basically an exchange where these carbon credits can be traded. We’re we become licensing partners to those carbon credit issuers around the world working with them projects and powering them with Bitcoin Cash.

"This is just another example of a think big project that we are involved with because it’s very important for us because we’re a POW (proof of work) blockchain that we do the right thing by really promoting green energy making sure that the miners we work with focus on renewable energy and that we will not be seen as a polluter but rather a solution that assists with Bitcoin Cash in protecting the environment.

"We’re very proactive in that space because that’s one of the biggest tech vectors against Bitcoin Cash, that we are a POW chain, but I think we are on the right track, we have the right solutions and probably within a year this Savetheworld.com is going to go live and is going to really make an impact when it comes to cryptos’ contribution to a green healthy environment."

Roger thanks Kim and states that he’s really excited to be working with Kim on all of these various protects. There's another minute or so of chat among other members of the meeting before everyone signs off.
