Made our sixth post at Honest.Cash! Last night was driving across town to visit some friends. Rain was intermittently falling. Pulled over to take a few pictures of a book called The Tomorrow File (author: Lawrence Sanders).

Read this book a long time ago and I'm always referencing it in discussion and conversation. No one I've ever spoken with has heard of it. As the back cover indicates it's very much a cross between George Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. It's a lot more vulgar (and radical) though than either of those (I've read both 1984 and Brave New World) and especially so when it comes to sex. The book was published in 1975 and is set in the year 1998.

I've read a few other books by Lawrence Sanders and the characters often have 'dirty minds' (my words). Several (or more) of his other books are crime / detective / mystery and if I'm remembering correctly there's often descriptions of salacious sex (and sometimes worse, think A Clockwork Orange) running through the characters' minds while they're conducting crimes (or anything else including ordinary or mundane tasks) which are unrelated to sex.

I'm going to read The Tomorrow File again. Throughout the reading I plan to publish a few (or maybe several) reports consisting of my observations and thoughts in regard to the book.

In somewhat unrelated news last week I was able to replace the windshield (see picture directly above) on my Yamaha bike. See the Jan. 27, 2019 article for more context in regard to broken windshield. It's difficult to find parts nowadays for this bike. I used the peer-to-peer (although centralized) Bitcoin exchange Paxful.com to trade BTC for an eBay gift card which I used to purchase the windshield on eBay. I cannot provide an official recommendation or endorsement of Paxful but I have been using their exchange since 2016 without any issues: https://paxful.com/user/Nandibear.

There's over 300 methods (including cash) listed for buying and selling BTC. For example, you can trade a Walmart gift card for BTC / or sell your BTC for a Walmart gift card. I really and truly hope that Paxul will add Bitcoin Cash (BCH) support to their peer-to-peer (although centralized) Bitcoin exchange.

See you all in the next Tomorrow File report at Honest.Cash!
